Happy New Year! With each new year, we enter a new Universal energy that helps us be the best version of ourselves. Energy can be very nebulous at times, since it is not seen with the eyes for most people. We need ways to understand it consciously so we can work with energy instead of letting it railroad us. One way of understanding these energies is numerology. A certain number is given to a specific energy of the times. It is a basic cycle of 9.
This year we are in the Universal energy of a 7. Alignment, trust, reflection, inward focus, self awareness, inventiveness, spiritual inquiry, wonder, beauty, analytical. There is a tendency to want to retreat and recharge. The key is to not wall oneself off from others. The shadow of this energy can be thinking we can do everything on our own, and a feeling of being alone or misunderstood.

2021 was a year of defining what has heart and meaning for us. Defining boundaries, responsibility, and feeling into what home really means for us all. Relationships were key.
As we enter this year of spiritual discovery and alignment, it would be easy to forget all of last year and the relationships we cultivated. Bring those in to this year, since spiritual growth also means connecting with others.
You will have the opportunity each month to align with what the Universe, Spirit, God, wants to share with you and your soul’s journey. Sometimes alignment means a door shutting, a small pivot, or a leap of faith. It requires quiet time to connect and then aligned and inspired action to move the needle forward.
The last time I experienced a 7 energy was a few years ago with my personal cycle. It was the year 2021 and my husband and I bought a home during a crazy market. After a realtor told us there was no way we could find the financing or a home.
Having a home was a deep heart’s desire of mine. I believed it was possible even though I didn’t know how. I needed to learn how to align with my vision and heart’s desire.
Alignment for me during that period was journaling, following the clues, listening deeply and taking consistent actions. Trusting the process. I went to open houses and suddenly met the “right” person to give me the next breadcrumb. My husband and I found our realtor online in a magical way. I was called to continually trust as offer upon offer wasn’t accepted. I needed to let go of old thinking around financing. I also had immense support from coaches to get out of my own way. My spiritual practice saw me through it as well.
I had written an intention to get a home in 6 months by June 4th. It tested my faith of all that I knew to be true. I held strong to my vision and did everything I needed to do. And….we moved in on June 4th. It has felt more home than anyplace I had been recently. I’m beyond grateful. It felt like a miracle come true, which it was.
This is the energy of this Universal year. A year where we ALL are experiencing the same energetic frequency.
What miracle are you ready to claim? What intention do you have that is rooted in a deep heart’s desire that you are ready to see manifest? What support do you have in place in order to get out of your way? What spiritual practices do you engage with daily to listen to the clues and take aligned and inspired action?
This year I will continually share how each month plays into this energy of Divine Alignment and Trust. We cut our learning curve and save time when we are conscious of the energies around us.
