There are moments in our business that we are pushed beyond our limits to grow into an even greater version of ourselves. I call this direction the North, and Believe in the Journey. It is at these moments where so many opportunities are everywhere and we don’t know “how” we are going to get them done. It seems overwhelming and a little scary because we don’t see what is coming up ahead. It is complete trust and massive action at this point.
When I get in a frenzy, like all human beings do, I go to nature for guidance. It is such an amazing teacher and I’m always humbled by what I learn. Last week, I had a huge deadline and told my coach I didn’t think I could do it. She wrote back, “keep on writing.” I knew she was right. After all, that is the reason I have a coach myself, to keep me out of my own way.
I decided to go to the mountains in Asheville for more clarity. As I was stepping into a bigger version of me, I felt the mountains appropriate. At the base of the mountain, it said the road was closed to where I wanted to go. I felt I would go as close as I could. When I arrived, it was open….and it had a lot of fog! Near the end, the road got very foggy and curvy, and all I wanted to do was turn around, and there wasn’t any place to turn around. I had to continue going up.
You see…..at one point in the destiny of your business, you will no longer have space to turn around. It’s about going for it full force without any excuses. Yes, for a moment it will be scary because you may not be sure what it is. When you push through that….. Wow! You are supported!
See the video for more on how this actually looks and how quickly the transformation can happen. Within two days, I had so much support of people pushing me on that I made a deadline that I never could have conceived making just 48 hours earlier.
That’s the power of nature, and the power of your Spirit….when you follow its calling.
