With a title such as I surrender, many people would think that it just means giving up and not doing anything. That is the furthest from the truth. There is a phrase that I use often that drives some people absolutely crazy. You will often hear me say, “It is what it is.” It’s not from that place of being a victim. It’s from a place of complete awareness.
When something doesn’t work for you, what is going on? What is the learning lesson for you? It is there for a reason. It’s a message from your spirit.
Now, I could have cursed technology when it didn’t work the other day with the launch of my first big telesummit, but instead I got to learn. Here is what I learned yet again:
- Have an amazing support team. My team was on the tech issues right away, and creatively found solutions to them.
- Honor your intuition when things feel off, and investigate. You need to be able to track your numbers, and know when something is off.
- Be responsible for knowing what is happening around you just in case. Because in a business, you are completely responsible for what goes out, regardless of what happens.
- Be willing to have mistakes happen and make them right.
- Let go of what you think should have happened, and surrender to what is. Create a new plan and then make it even more amazing!
What if I would have waited because I thought something might go slightly wrong before actually doing this amazing telesummit? You probably would never have had the chance to hear these mind blowing talks and learn how to improve your business both financially and spiritually.
I also would not be following my dream of getting my message out in a big way.
