This is a follow-up from the previous post entitled, “Do You Really Want It?”
Is there an escape clause? A subconscious one that peeks its head out every once and a while? Many times it’s put into place because we want to “know” everything. It’s a protective mechanism that we put up even though it prevents us from truly trusting and experiencing love in a deep and profound way. We may find ourselves asking these questions.
How long will you stay? Can we keep the passion alive? Will I have to change in the process? Will you be willing to change as well? Can I truly be me? Will you let me know when it’s time for you to go? Who will replace you if that happens? I don’t want my heart to hurt. Will we have a lot of fun? Can we agree to disagree at times? Can we find something that works for both of us? Will you support my crazy and wild visions? Will you love me? Will I truly let myself receive your love? Do I trust myself to make a sound decision? Is this short term or for the long term? Will you stay?

Many of you may think I was speaking about a romantic love interest up above. Yes, it could be. It also is anything that we truly love. A creative project, a business, a partnership, a personal mission. Everything is a relationship and to have it truly function, it’s about coming from our hearts wisdom. It’s no longer from a place of what the other can “do” for us, but rather how we can work together in a partnership that is amazing.
Many of you are entrepreneurs, business owners, or someone on a mission to make this world a better place. You have an idea of your part in this amazing adventure. Are you holding on to an escape clause? Hanging on to an old story of how a past relationship was? Or are you jumping in completely to see where this new relationship can go and see what else is possible?
Cherish the journey. Love fiercely. Have fun. Ignite passion. Be present in the now. Seek Adventure. Build stability. Keep it simple and easy. Honor your commitment. Know what you want. Don’t compromise. Be the person the relationship requires. Love deeply. Repeat.
