Well, we made it! We managed to go through a year of unprecedented change and constant pivots. We all experienced it in a way true to our style. For those of you who have change energy as part of your soul make-up, this was a wild crazy year of change and constant movement. For those of you who are more on the fixed spectrum of stability and don’t love change so much, then this year might have helped you expand your comfort zone.
All of us were asked to change our ways. To honor what was and continue forward. To let go of old stories of failure and continue on despite our mind chattering.
Last January I titled this year of 2021 as one of Unprecedented Change and Divine Expansion. And it truly was.
We saw it play out in the world in a multitude of ways. It was the Universal energy of 2021.
Over the past 10 years, I have been using numerology, dreaming, and a multitude of other modalities to share with you all the energy of the times, because when we are empowered with this information, we can flow with what is happening instead of shutting down energy meant for our spiritual growth.
As we get ready to release this year, it is important to honor it with all the changes it has brought.
If you haven’t already, take the next few days to write a list of all that happened. What were the magical moments of connection for you? Make sure to honor the tiny little things. For me, having barbecues was a big deal. As well as finally buying our new home. Honor the big moments and small wins.
What were your moments of joy? Of connection? Insights? New opportunities showing up?
Also, write down the aspects that were not so great for you. Then make sure to find the learning in it. Did you become a stronger person because of it? Did you learn compassion for self? Did it propel you on a new path of self-discovery. I know for myself the beginning of the year had me dealing with big health issues that finally got resolved. It gave me the opportunity to release all the times I didn’t listen to my body’s wisdom, and now have that be one of my ways of operating – listening to my body.
When you have finished with these lists, let them go in a way that is true for you. I like to say “thank you and goodbye” while sending it on its way with blessings.
When we learn from both the positive and the challenging, we get opportunities to complete old cycles and embark on the ones that hold deep meaning of our heart’s desires.
We have been feeling that call of the heart even more since October. It was a portal of showing us what new ideas or things we are ready to bring forth in our life.
2022 is what I’m calling “Listen to Your Heart”. It’s time to manifest your heart’s desires.
I will be talking more all next year on this topic. It will be a year of balance, love, family, relationships, communication, manifestation, heart’s desire, purpose, meaning, creativity, listening to body wisdom. Letting go of responsibility that isn’t yours. Letting other people experience their personal growth. Boundaries. Releasing perfectionism and judgment (especially around your own endeavors).
Each month will provide us with new opportunities of growth to listen to our heart in new ways.
Each year stacks upon another. How did 2021 ask you to change so that you can start to hear your heart’s desire in new ways?
I know I have been surprised with what has been showing up in the last month of what I want to create, and continue to bring forward. It’s the beauty of this journey we are on. There is so much to explore. And first, we need to truly listen deeply to our heart.
As you go into the new year, be conscious of what shows up. For my Australian friends, you are already doing that. :).
