Happy almost new year!
As we are getting ready to close out the year, so often we get caught up in the newness of the coming year. We have our goals, intentions, and plans and are focused on those.
Yet, there is something powerful and essential in reviewing our current year. It helps us see what we have accomplished. It shows us where we have grown as people. And it helps us see old patterns that we no longer want to carry forward.
As I prepare for my new year, I like to take the learning from the previous year into the new one. That way, I am consciously taking the lessons and learning and incorporating it into my life and business. It is a way of honoring myself and personal growth.
Since 2017, we have been on a 9-year Universal energetic cycle of stepping into deeper alignment with our soul’s path. Alignment has been huge not only for us personally, but globally as well. What once was hidden is now being revealed.
You have felt that for yourself as well. Starting to see the importance of what you want in life. Being clear on boundaries with others. Claiming your creativity and personal truth. Releasing old forms and structures that no longer serve. Being able to pivot at a moment’s notice and embrace change that is aligned with who you are.
And now 2022 you have delved deeper into your heart’s desire and what truly captivates and moves you. It is the 6th year of our 9-year cycle. What do we really want to do versus what we feel we “should do.”
2022 has been one of unlocking your heart’s desire. What moved you in 2022? Had deep meaning? Where did old passions or interests captivate you once again?
I know that for me being in the play CLUE as Mrs. White was a dream come true and reminded me how much I love the stage. It was something I had forgotten or felt was only for my past.
This year has been an energy of love, home, family, relationships, communication, giving, receiving, taking care of your body, doing what lights you up, balance, excellence, and following your heart. Potential pitfalls have been engaging in enabling patterns, pushing one’s body to exhaustion, becoming a martyr and over taking responsibility for others.
Responsibility has been huge. What is your responsibility and what is for others? Again, boundaries have been huge. How can we guide others without feeling the need to be the one to do it for them?
This year has also revealed what is deep within our hearts. What has meaning for us.
For each of us it is different. Carving a new path. Partnering with others, Being conscious of how we use our time. Connecting with our creative muse. Feeling stability and security. Going on adventures and experiencing life. Making the home beautiful and inviting. Fostering a deeper connection with the Universe and nature. Building businesses and dealing with money. Leaving a legacy and creating something bigger than you ever imagined.
I encourage you to look back on each month of 2022. What happened? What peeked your interest? What old behaviors and patterns did you overcome? How did you listen to your body wisdom? Where did you deal with issues of responsibility? What truly jazzed you and made you feel alive?
As you go from month to month, you will notice a pattern. Something you were here to learn. Take these new skills and ideas into 2023. And release what no longer serves.
I like to say “thank you and good-bye.”

I will be back in 2023 sharing more of that energy. 2023 is a Universal 7 energy of spiritual alignment. It is one of Universal energy. Connection. Feeling the awe of everyday miracles. Spiritual truths. Deep trust. Alignment. And potential challenges are feeling we can do it all by ourselves. We may feel we have to be alone to connect.
2023 can be super magical when we are aligned with our soul. Make sure you take all you have learned from your heart and relationships and bring it in to 2023. We are always supported and never alone. Aligned community will be essential to access our deeper spiritual truths.
