I get this question all the time. What can I do to get more clients? I live in a small town, I don’t know who to call, I’ve tapped all my resources.
First of all, you never have tapped all your resources when you are spiritually connected. Energetically connections are happening around you constantly. You get the opportunity to open up to them.
In my previous newsletters, I have been talking about intentions, getting clear on what you want, and other ideas. That’s the first step because you have to know who you are seeking to help and how you can help them.
The next step is to ask for referrals. Okay….some of you are ready to stop reading. You wanted something more fancy. You may have already done it a year or more ago. Keep on reading.
In November, I was interviewing Mara Glazer about the top ways to get more clients. She is known for her amazing social media strategies and creating an ever expanding business. Her advice? Send out letters to those you know asking for referrals. It’s what she does on a continual basis. And so do most highly successful business people.
Now, here’s the key. If you haven’t done a letter in over a year, contact everyone you know. Tell them what you are up to now, what you are looking for, and ask them if there is any way that you can support them. And….don’t ASSUME that they know what’s going on with you and your business. You actually would be surprised at how many people don’t know exactly what you do.
It’s time to let them know. And it’s time for you to put it out there in a big way what you are doing to help others!
A business without support isn’t a business. And it isn’t very spiritual. We were never meant to do all of this by ourselves.
Connection is key.
