In last week’s mastermind, my clients were giving their presentations on what they do in their business. There were powerful moments as they all shared pieces of who they are, and how they came to their businesses. They have gone through a lot of radical changes themselves to be able to be helping others do the same. With everyone, somewhere in mid speech, they would say something, and quickly correct themselves. They would say, “I actually would not say this to everyone, but it is what I think.” Wow!
So, what do you think we did? We wove all of those beliefs into a powerful point of view for each person. People buy “you”, they don’t necessarily buy what you know. Yes, you need to be amazing at everything you do, and also you need to be authentically you. This is the difference between a mediocre business and an amazing one.
Once they actually implemented their point of view with other pieces that were taught that day, there was a palpable change in the room, and many changed their current business structure to integrate the more powerful ideas they have. They felt liberated, and more true to who they are and were born to be. They were no longer hiding behind what they think they “should” have been saying. They connected in with their spirit, which in turn affects their money story.
There is much more to the learning that happened those two days, but I thought I would share. What do you REALLY want to say? And are you saying it? Why or why not?
