As I was walking in the forest the other day (which is in my backyard), I went off on my favorite path which is one that isn’t taken much because it was created out of the way. I love this space because as I enter I have a question that I am pondering, and when I exit on the other side I receive an answer.

I was reflecting on how people do things. One of my mentors says, “how you do anything is how you do everything.” I figured that this also would be how we take paths. I am one that sometimes follows the main one, and then at times breaks off into a lesser known one. However, someone usually has gone before me. I don’t like to wrestle with the trees, etc. creating a path no knowing where it will go. Those are more for the adventurous Indiana Jones types. ☺ As I reflected on this I realized that I do take the road less traveled because I love the mystery. I know that there is an exit, however, I don’t know what the journey always looks like. Each day it might be different. A tree might have fallen, a big mud puddle might have appeared on the trail. And it’s all about being flexible and having the sight on the destination, while fully enjoying the journey.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to participate in a weekend intensive with one of my mentors for a full year program on growing a business that has an impact on the world. I work with her because she has gone that path. She has the ability to get me there and show me how. However, with any path, they are always changed particular to the person. Remember the fallen tree? We will switch slightly according to who we are and what our obstacles or challenges may be. There are so many options available. And on the path, I might see something that she did not. That is the beauty of it all.

So….where are you on your journey? Are you doing it alone like Indiana Jones? If you are, and you are that type, then that is great for you. If you are one who likes some sort of guidance, where are you getting the help? Very few of us are meant to do it alone. And even Indiana Jones had people who helped him along the way. If you are ready to experience more joy in your life, I invite you to check out my new offerings. I know how to get you there, because I have been there myself. When you look for a teacher or mentor, one thing is to resonate with what they offer. The other is to know that they have done the personal work that qualifies them to be a guide on your personal journey. It gets you there quicker and with more ease.

Are you ready to ignite your brilliance? To step into your gift? To truly live your life from a place of beauty and meaning? I have an individual consulting package available that is meant to jumpstart your life. I look forward to helping you on your journey. It’s something I absolutely love to do!

Peace, Monica
