We are at a time in our evolution when many are feeling the pull to connect in with a higher wisdom, and bring their gifts out into the world in a powerful way. It’s happening all over the world. I just heard a recent statistic that more women than ever are starting businesses. They have a different way in general of looking at things. So, this trend is worth noting. (This has nothing against the male readers here because we all are on an awesome path of bringing in our gifts in an empowered way). In general, women tend to be more nurturing, communicative, and loving. Men, tend to be more action oriented, goal focused, and get things done.
In business the two are needed to function at optimum capacity. What I find is that the loving piece tends to be put aside for a more “convenient” time. This is with both women and men. And it hinders your business, as well as your life.
Love is about loving yourself first. It is about connecting in with your own heart wisdom and sharing that with others. It’s about committing to yourself 100% and never looking back. Letting go of old stories and ideas that no longer serve a loving way of being. In the obvious forms it is about taking care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. Many of you are doing the first three fairly well, and that last one gets missed at times.
When you love yourself, you can love another, you can love money. Everything is an energy. When we let go of the problems or challenges that we hold on to, we change our energy. The reactions you have with money may be subconscious, it may be from childhood, or further back down the family tree. I find that many times it is tied to love.
When you love yourself unconditionally, you don’t have to apologize for being. You just are. You know who you are and authentically convey that to others. Your business message is no longer a memorized speech, but rather a heart invoked statement that reaches others in an authentic and powerful way. Sales is now about sharing what you have. Sharing what your heart wants to offer. It’s not about pushing something on someone else. Networking is true communication in the human sense. You want to connect for business, but you truly care about who the other person is and what got them to where they are. Marketing is now awesome. It is an opportunity to get your message out in a way that resonates with that core of who you are. It doesn’t feel sleazy or gross, because you are in complete harmony with it. When you love yourself, you get the help you need. You create strong, action plans for success, and you do the work. It’s a great balance.
My path has taken me on one of learning about love in a deep profound way. I remember a shaman telling me a few years ago that a moment of physical challenge I was facing was really an initiation for me. He explained that most people my age (44 at the time) did not understand the heart and love like I had managed to do. I didn’t understand what that meant and how powerful a gift I had been given. And now I do. I weave it into everything I do with business, and my life. I weave it in with all the teachings my clients receive. And they will tell you that not only does their business change, but they do. Because you can’t do this work without learning how you connect to your heart. Well, you can, but it is more difficult and not as much fun.
